The USF Bulls (9-5, 2-1) defeated Rice (6-10, 0-3) 81-73 on Friday night at the Yuengling Center in Tampa.
Kaesean Pryor led the way with 29 points for USF. With the Bulls trailing Rice 40-31 at halftime, Pryor erupted for 27 of his points in the second half to help the Bulls get the win. Selton Miguel also added 17 points for USF.
The Bulls are next in action when they go on the road to face the 13th-ranked Memphis Tigers on Thursday night. Tipoff between the Bulls and Tigers is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday night in Memphis.
