The UAB Blazers (10-5, 2-0) defeated the USF Bulls (8-5, 1-1) 75-71 on Sunday afternoon in Birmingham. The loss is the first from USF in conference play.
The Bulls got 17 points each from Selton Miguel and Chris Youngblood to lead the way. This game was close throughout, with UAB leading USF 36-35 at halftime, before earning a four-point victory at the end.
The Bulls are back in action when they play host to Rice on Friday night. Tipoff from the Yuengling Center is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Friday between USF and the Rice Owls.
