Florida Atlantic (3-3, 2-0) defeated the USF Bulls (3-4, 2-2) 56-14 on Saturday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium. The game was USF's homecoming, and the Bulls have now lost two in a row.
FAU only led 21-14 at halftime, before erupting for three unanswered touchdowns in the third quarter. They added two more in the fourth to turn the game into a blowout.
Byrum Brown went 15-of-26 for 179 yards and a touchdown at quarterback for the Bulls. Nay'Quan Wright rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown to lead the Bulls ground game.
The Bulls return to action when they travel to Connecticut on October 21 - kickoff in the game is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
