The USF Bulls (2-2, 1-0) defeated Rice (2-2, 0-1) 42-29 on Saturday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium. The win snaps a 13-game conference losing streak for the Bulls.
It was a record-setting day for the Bulls. Receiver Naiem Simmons had eight catches for 272 yards, setting not just a school record but a record for most yards in a single game in the history of college football in Florida.
