The Houston Cougars (5-3, 3-1 AAC) defeated the USF Bulls (1-7, 0-4 AAC) 42-27 on Saturday afternoon in Houston.
Cougars quarterback Clayton Tune set the pace for Houston, going 31-for-37 with 380 yards and four touchdowns. Katravis Marsh got the start at quarterback for USF, going 24-for-35 with 275 yards and one touchdown. Brian Battie was the game's leading rusher, running for 106 yards and two touchdowns in the losing effort.
The Bulls remain on the road when they return to action next Saturday against Temple. Kickoff between USF and Temple is scheduled for 2:00 PM on November 5th in Philadelphia.
