The USF Bulls (24-9) fell to the Miami Hurricanes (21-12) 78-66 in the first round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament on Friday afternoon in Columbia, South Carolina.
Miami used a hot start, building a 24-11 lead in the first quarter and led by 11 at halftime.
Elena Tsineke may have been the best player on the court - she led the game with 21 points, including 17 in the first half.
Coming into the Tournament as a number nine seed and see their season come to a close. Miami will advance to play #1 seed South Carolina, who defeated #16 seed Howard 79-21 in their opening round game.
