ECU Uses Strong Second Half To Knock Off USF

East Carolina rallied to a 29-14 win over the USF Bulls on Thursday night in Greenville, North Carolina.

The USF Bulls were able to build a 14-6 lead in the first half, but ECU took control of the game in the second half. Two second quarter touchdowns gave ECU a 19-14 lead, while the Pirates defense prevented USF from getting on the board again as ECU defeated USF 29-14.

Katravis Marsh got the start at quarterback for USF in place of the injured Timmy McClain, and passed for 192 yards. Kelly Joiner led the way in the USF ground game, rushing for 103 yards - it was Joiner's second consecutive 100 yard running game.

The USF Bulls will return to action on November 6th when they host the Houston Cougars at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff on November 6th is scheduled for 7:30 PM - pregame coverage begins at 6:30 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
