Bulls Knock Off Temple For First FBS Win


The USF Bulls (2-5) defeated Temple (3-4) 34-14 on Saturday evening at Raymond James Stadium. It was the first win against an FBS opponent in the Jeff Scott era, which began in 2020.

The Bulls got this win by dominating the running game, USF ran for a school record 421 yards, led by 162 yards and two touchdowns from Jaren Mangham. Mangham now has twelve touchdowns on the season.

Timmy McClain got the start at quarterback, going 10-for-31 with 71 yards and a passing touchdown. Katravis Marsh played much of the second half of this game at quarterback going 4-for-7 with 25 passing yards.

The Bulls will look to build on this game when they travel to East Carolina on Thursday night. Kickoff from ECU is scheduled for 7:30 PM on Thursday night - pregame coverage begins at 6:30 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
