The USF Bulls (1-4, 0-1) fell to the SMU Mustangs (5-0, 1-0) 41-17 on Saturday afternoon in Dallas.
SMU took control of the game in the first half, building a 17-3 halftime lead. USF got two touchdowns in the second half, both one yard runs from Jaren Mangham, to account for their only second half scoring.
Timmy McClain went 14-for-22 with 223 yards through the air - Jimmy Horn was his leading receiver, pulling in 102 yards.
USF is off next week, and will return to action when they host Tulsa at Raymond James Stadium on October 16th.
