USF Drops Sixth Straight As They Fall To Memphis Saturday

The USF Bulls (1-6, 0-5) fell to the Memphis Tigers (4-2, 3-2) on Saturday afternoon in Memphis.

The Bulls built a significant lead in this game, taking a 27-13 lead into halftime and making the key stops they needed to throughout. However, Memphis didn't give up, ultimately scoring two touchdowns in the final 3:19 of the game to rally to a 34-33 win.

USF quarterback Nick Johnson was steady throughout this game, going 20-for-29 with 217 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, but was outdueled by Memphis quarterback Brady White, who went 30-for-50 with 437 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.

The loss was the sixth straight for the Bulls, their longest such losing streak since 2018. They will look to snap that losing streak next Saturday when they head to Houston to battle the Cougars - kickoff is scheduled for 3 PM with pregame coverage beginning at 2 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
