The Tulsa Golden Hurricane (2-1) defeated the USF Bulls (1-5) 42-13 on Friday night.
After a first quarter that saw Tulsa score a touchdown and USF answer with two field goals, the Golden Hurricane began to pull away in the second quarter. Tulsa got a touchdown from Corey Taylor II and Deneric Prince to make it 21-6 at halftime, then out-scored USF 21-7 in the third quarter to build a 42-13 lead that would hold for Tulsa.
Noah Johnson went 18-for-27 for 150 yards, one touchdown and one interception playing quarterback for the Bulls - his only touchdown through was to Bryce Miller, who had 44 yards and a touchdown. Omarion Dollison also grabbed 54 yards receiving for USF. The Bulls were victimized by three turnovers, including a goal line turnover that would prove to be crucial.
The Bulls are scheduled to return to action on Saturday November 7th when they travel to Memphis.
