The Cincinnati Bearcats (3-0, 1-0) defeated the USF Bulls (1-2, 0-1) on Saturday afternoon in Cincinnati.
The Bearcats was able to establish the run against the Bulls throughout the game, thanks in large part to senior running back Gerrid Doaks, who ran for 102 yards and a touchdown. USF was also plagued by five interceptions - Jordan McCloud went 12-for-21 with 137 yards passing, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Katravis Marsh also went 6-for-13 with 39 yards passing and three interceptions without throwing a touchdown pass.
Johnny Ford provided the only offense for USF of the day, when he ran in a 2 yard touchdown run with fourty-nine seconds go to in the third quarter.
The Bulls have now lost two in a row and are scheduled to return to action next Saturday when they host East Carolina. Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is scheduled for 7:00 PM with pregame coverage beginning at 6 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
