The USF (8-20, 1-14) men's basketball team fell on the road to Tulsa (16-10, 9-5), 73-61 on Sunday afternoon.
USF took an early lead in this game, but Tulsa had little trouble answering, going on an 8-0 run to end the first half ahead 34-23. From there the Golden Hurricane used a 20-7 run to open the second half to take control. Though the Bulls fought back, they could not overcome a 24-points deficit and would up losing by 12.
The Bulls were led by 17 points from David Collins and 16 points from Stephan Jiggetts. Martinis Igbanu had 19 points to key the Golden Hurricanes win. The Bulls are next in action next Saturday when they host Tulane - tipoff from the Sun Dome is set for high noon.
