USF Falls to Temple 73-55 on Saturday

The USF Bulls (8-18, 1-12) fell to Temple (15-10, 7-6) on Saturday afternoon at the Sun Dome.

USF played well in the first half of this game, going into the break tied at 30-30.  It was the second half where Temple came alive, going on a nine point run to build a 37-30 lead.  As the half wore on, the Owls were able to orchestrate a 12-0 run thanks in large part to Quinton Rose, who scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half.  Now up 63-47 with 5:43 to go in the game, the Owls were able to close out the win road win over USF.

USF was led by 18 points and eight rebounds from Isaiah Manderson off the bench.  The Bulls also got 10 points from Payton Banks and David Collins in the losing effort.

The Bulls next head to Orlando for a Valentine's Day matchup against UCF.  Tipoff on Wednesday night is scheduled for 6 PM.
