USF Drops Super Bowl Sunday Contest To Tulsa

The USF Bulls (8-16, 1-10) fell to Tulsa (13-10, 6-5) on Sunday afternoon at the Sun Dome.

Tulsa won their sixth straight game in the series by outscoring USF 22-5 over a six minute stretch after trailing 33-30 early in the second half.  USF was never able to recover, in spite of the best efforts from Stephan Jiggets, who scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds.  David Collins also added 11 points for the win.

USF returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to the northeast to battle the University of Connecticut.  Tipoff from Storrs is set for 7 PM on Wednesday night.
