The USF Bulls (8-14, 1-8) fell to the Houston Cougars (16-4, 6-2) 63-40 on Sunday afternoon in the Lone Star State.
USF held their own against the Cougars early in this one, only trailing 19-17 in the first half. However, the Cougars went on a 14-0 run to finish the first half with a 33-17 lead and never looked back. Payton Banks and Stephan Jiggets each scored 10 points to lead the Bulls, while Houston was led by 17 points from Corey Davis, Jr.
The Bulls look to get back in the win column when they return home to play Memphis on Wednesday. Tipoff from the Sun Dome is set for 8:30 PM on Wednesday night.
