(via USF Communications) – USF head men’s basketball coach Brian Gregory announced today that the program and sophomore forward Tulio Da Silva have parted ways.
“I met with Tulio and his family this week to discuss his future and we decided it is best if our program and he move forward separately,” Gregory said. “We thank Tulio for his efforts at USF and wish him the best of luck moving forward. I feel good about the young men in our program and those excited to join it, their commitment to improve every day and the foundation we are building for the success of USF basketball.”
The Bulls have already signed three, three-star players to the class of 2018, which currently ranks third in the American Athletic Conference according to Rivals. The class includes a guard, a wing and a 6-11 center. USF will also welcome the addition to next season’s active roster of three new players currently sitting out the 2017-18 season.
