The Florida State Seminoles (5-6, 2-6 ACC) fell to NC State (6-5, 3-4 ACC) 21-11 on Friday night in Raleigh, North Carolina. With the loss, the Seminoles must defeat the Florida Gators in the regular season finale if they are to become bowl eligible.
The Seminoles committed back-to-back turnovers on late punt returns to give NC State a chance at the win, which they were able to clinch when CJ Bailey hit Justin Jolley with a 12-yard touchdown pass with 1:47 to go in the game.
Tommy Castellanos went 16-for-32 with 203 yards passing and a touchdown as well as throwing for two interceptions in the losing effort for Florida State - he also added 76 yards on the ground.
The Seminoles are next in action when they play the Florida Gators in Gainesville on November 29th.
