The Florida State Seminoles (5-5, 2-5 ACC) defeated Virginia Tech (3-7, 2-4) 34-14 on Saturday night. With the win, the Seminoles kept the possibility of becoming bowl eligible on the season alive.
Tommy Castellanos went 12-for-24 with 189 yards passing and a touchdown through the air - he added another 45 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. The Seminoles led this game 10-7 at halftime before scoring two touchdowns in the third to take control of the game.
The Seminoles are next in action when they travel to North Carolina State on Friday night. Kickoff between the Seminoles and Wolfpack is scheduled for 8:00 PM on Friday night.
