The 3rd-ranked Miami Hurricanes (5-0, 1-0 ACC) defeated #18 Florida State (3-2, 0-2) 28-22 on Saturday night in Tallahassee.
Miami quarterback Carson Beck went 20-for-27 with 241 yards passing and four touchdowns to lead the Hurricanes to the win. Seminoles quarterback Tommy Castellanos went 25-of-45 with 272 yards passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Hurricanes built a 28-3 lead after three quarters before the Seminoles rallied with two touchdowns and a field goal in the fourth, but Miami held on for the 28-22 win.
The Hurricanes are next in action when they host Louisville on Friday October 17 - kickoff in that game is scheduled for 7:00 PM. The Seminoles are next in action when they host Pittsburgh on Saturday October 11 - kickoff in that game is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
