The Florida State Seminoles (1-3) held on for a 14-9 win over the California Golden Bears (3-1) on Saturday night in Tallahassee.
DJ Uiagalelei hit Ja'Khi Douglas for a 36-yard touchdown with 11:08 to go in the fourth quarter that would prove to be the game-winner. The Seminoles defense held on as Cal had the ball in the red zone in the final two minutes but forced a turnover on downs to clinch the win.
The Seminoles now travel to Dallas to play SMU next Saturday. Kickoff between the Seminoles and SMU Mustangs is scheduled for 8:00 PM on September 28.
