Boston College (1-0, 1-0) defeated the 10th ranked Florida State Seminoles (0-2, 0-2) 28-13 on Monday night in Tallahassee. In spite of being ranked in the top eight to start the season, the Seminoles are now 0-2, with both losses coming in conference, to start the season.
Treshaun Ward led the Eagles with a huge offensive night against his former team. The Tampa native finished with 138 yards of offense - 77 yards on the ground and 61 yards in the air - and had a key 13-yard touchdown reception. Ward had played for Florida State from 2019-2022.
Seminoles quarterback DJ Uiagalelei went 21-for-42 with 272 yards passing while throwing for one touchdown and one interception. Kentron Poitier led the Seminoles with 79 yards receiving and a touchdown through the air.
The Seminoles are next in action when they host Memphis on September 14 at 12:00 PM EST in Tallahassee.
