The Florida State Seminoles (9-6, 3-1) defeated Wake Forest (11-4, 3-1) 87-82 on Tuesday evening in Tallahassee.
The Seminoles put together a well-balanced effort, getting 19 points and nine assists from Jamir Watkins, 17 points and five rebounds from Darin Green Jr and a career-high 14 points and three blocks from Baba Miller. FSU led 42-41 at halftime and used a 14-0 run early in the second half to take control of the game.
Florida State next goes on the road to Notre Dame to play the Fighting Irish on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff from South Bend, Indiana, is scheduled for 2:15 PM on Saturday.
