The Florida State Seminoles (8-6, 2-1) defeated Virginia Tech (9-5, 1-2) 77-74 on Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee.
The Seminoles got 11 points each from Cam Corhen, Jaylan Gainey and Primo Spears to lead the way. The Seminoles were down by five with 1:27 to go but a three-pointer from Sean Pedulla pulled them within 74-72. Pedulla then hit Two free-throws to tie the game before Spears hit the free-throws that gave the Seminoles the lead. From there Florida State held on for the win.
The Seminoles return to action when they host Wake Forest on Tuesday night at 7:00 PM.
