The Florida State Seminoles (7-6, 1-1) defeated Georgia Tech (8-5, 1-1) 82-71 on Wednesday night in Tallahassee. The win is the first in conference for the Seminoles.
Chandler Jackson scored 14 points for Florida State, one of four Seminoles to score in double figures. Florida State opened the game on a 17-7 run and led 32-19 at halftime en route to the victory.
The Seminoles are next in action when they host Virginia Tech on Saturday. Tipoff in that game is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
