The 6th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (13-1) blew out the Florida State Seminoles (13-1) 63-3 in the Capital One Orange Bowl on Saturday afternoon. For the Seminoles, it was their worst margin of defeat in school history.
The Seminoles and Bulldogs meant in the Orange Bowl after having both missed out at a chance at the College Football Playoff. For the Seminoles, they became the first team in history to go undefeated in a Power Five conference and not be selected for the Playoff.
