Fourteenth-ranked North Carolina State (5-1, 1-1) defeated the Florida State Seminoles (4-2, 2-2) 19-17 on Saturday night in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Seminoles built a 17-3 halftime lead, but NC State rallied with 16 unanswered points in the second half to earn the victory. Devan Boykin picked off Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis' pass in the end zone with 38 seconds to go in the game to clinch the win.
Travis went 15-for-30 with 181 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions - he also ran for another 108 yards in the losing effort.
The Seminoles return to action next Saturday when they host #5 Clemson. Kickoff between the Seminoles and Tigers from Tallahassee is scheduled for 7:30 PM on October 15th.
