The Florida State Seminoles (3-0, 1-0) defeated the Louisville Cardinal (1-2, 0-2) 35-31 on Friday night in Louisville.
After FSU quarterback Jordan Travis suffered a lower leg injury with a little more than four minutes to go in the second quarter, sophomore Tate Rodemaker came in the game to lead the Seminoles. He finished the game 6-for-10 with 109 yards passing, two touchdowns and one interception. His two-yard touchdown pass to Johnny Wilson with 7:54 to go in the fourth quarter helped clinch the improbable win for the Seminoles.
The Seminoles return to action when they host Boston College next Saturday. Kickoff from Tallahassee on September 24th is scheduled for 8:00 PM ET.
