The Florida State Seminoles (5-6, 4-4) defeated the Boston College Eagles (6-5, 2-4) 26-23 on Saturday afternoon in Boston.
The Seminoles built a 19-3 first half lead, and scored the first touchdown of the third quarter to make it 26-3. However, Boston College pushed back, scoring 20 unanswered points to pull within three. In the end, Florida State held on for a three-point win.
Jordan Travis went 20-for-34 with 251 yards and three touchdowns in the win for the Seminoles. Jashaun Corbin led the Seminoles ground game with 62 yards rushing.
The Seminoles are now one win away from being bowl eligible, and will face the Florida Gators in the final game of the season next Saturday. Kickoff between the Gators and Seminoles is scheduled for 12:00 PM on Saturday afternoon in Gainesville.
