The 19th ranked North Carolina State Wolfpack (7-2, 4-1) defeated the Florida State Seminoles (3-6, 2-4) 28-14 on Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee.
The Seminoles were shut out in the first half while NC State built a 14-0 lead. FSU scored early in the third to pull within 14-7, but NC State answered to take a 21-7 lead. Jashaun Corbin scored on a 3-yard run late in the third quarter, but NC State put the game away with a Ricky Person hit Devin Leary from 43-yards out to make it 28-14 midway through the fourth.
FSU went 2-for-16 on third downs, and managed only 38 yards rushing in the loss.
The Seminoles will return to action when they host Miami on November 13th.
