The Florida State Seminoles (3-4) blew out UMass (1-6) 59-3 on Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee. Seven different Seminoles got in the end zone in the blowout win, which is the third in a row for Florida State.
UMass got a field goal on the first drive of the game, but Florida State took over from there en route to a 38-3 at halftime. Jordan Travis went 5-for-10 with 123 yards passing, while freshman Chubba Purdy came in late and threw for two touchdown passes. The Seminoles got five touchdowns runs - from Jashaun Corbin, Jordan Travis, Lawrence Toafili, Treshaun Ward and DJ williams to spread the scoring around.
The Seminoles return to action next Saturday when they go on the road to take on Clemson. Kickoff on October 30th is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
