The Florida State Seminoles (0-3) fell to Wake Forest (3-0) 35-14 on Saturday afternoon in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Wake Forest built a 14-0 lead in the first quarter before FSU got on the board late in the quarter. In the second Wake Forest scored the first ten points of the quarter to put the game away en route to a 27-14 halftime lead. The Demon Deacons added a touchdown from Justice Ellison, and followed it up with a two-point conversation, midway through the third quarter that gave Wake Forest the 35-14 lead that would be the final score.
Florida State's McKenzie Milton went 11-for-16 with 119 yards, no touchdowns, two interceptions and a fumble in the rough loss. Jordan Travis came in and went 5-for-6 with 107 yards, two touchdowns and and interception for the Seminoles.
The Seminoles will look to bounce back at home when they host Louisville next Saturday. Kickoff from Tallahassee between FSU and Louisville is scheduled for 3:30 PM on September 25th.
