Seminoles Wrap Up Regular Season With Win Over Boston College

The FSU Seminoles (20-10, 9-9) wrapped up the regular season with a 85-76 win over Boston College on Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee.

The Seminoles trailed for much of this game, including behind down 36-34 at halftime.  Trailing 72-67 with 6:13 remaining, FSU scored nine straight points to take a 76-72 lead that whey would not relinquish.  Boston College went scoreless for 4:38 during this run while turning the ball over three times before hitting two free throws to pull within 76-74.  However, Florida State had another answer, going 9-2 down the stretch to secure the win.

Florida State was led by 21 points each from Braian Angola and Trent Forrest,  Angola had 19 of those point sin the second half, playing in front of his mother, who flew in from Columbia to surprise him by watching his final career home game.  Boston College was led by 22 points from Ky Bowman and 20 points from Jordan Chatman.

The Seminoles next play in the ACC tournament on Wednesday at 12 PM.
