Terance Mann scored 30 points to lead Florida State (15-5, 4-4) to an 88-77 win over Georgia Tech (10-10, 3-4) on Wednesday night in Tallahassee.
This contest had a close start,, but Florida State began to pull away late in the first half, including scoring six straight points late in the first half. Braian Agnola had a four-point play to orchestrate the drive, en route to a 19 point performance The Yellow Jackets did push back in the second half by pulling within eight, but Florida State answered with a 12-1 run to ensure the home victory and pull even in ACC play.
For the Seminoles, the win marked 30 of their last 31 games won at home. The Seminoles have another chance to improve on that home mark when they play host to in-state rival Miami on Saturday. Tipoff from Tallahassee is set for 4 PM as Florida State looks to avenge the Hurricane's 80-74 win on January 7th.
