The Florida State Seminoles (5-0) blew out The Citadel (2-3) 113-78 on Friday night in Tallahassee.
The Seminoles scored the first 12 points of the game and led 18-2 before the Bulldogs knew what hit them. Florida State led 52-35 at halftime and by as many as 41 as the second half wore on.
Terrance Mann and Braian Angola each scored 21 points to lead the Seminoles to the victory, while redshirt freshman Mfiondo Kabngale scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the double double. Matt Frierson scored 18 points off the bench to lead The Citadel.
The Seminoles next go on the road to battle Rutgers on Tuesday night as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Tipoff Tuesday night at Rutgers is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
