The Florida State Seminoles (4-0) remained undefeated with a 98-79 win over Kennesaw State (1-4) on Wednesday afternoon in Tallahassee.
Phil Cofer led the game with 21 points, which matches a career high, and came a rebound shy of a double-double. Five Seminoles scored in double figures, while Kennesaw State was led by 17 points from James Scott.
The Seminoles scored the first nine points of the game and led by as many as 19 points in the first half before going into halftime with a 54-42 lead. Florida State broke it open in the second half with a 10-0 run and at one point had a 25 point second half lead en route to the win.
Florida State returns to action on Friday night when they host Fordham. Tipoff Friday night is set for 7 PM.
