The Florida State Seminoles (3-0) had little trouble knocking off Colorado State (2-2) 90-73 in the Jamaica Classic on Sunday night.
M.J. Walker came off the bench and hit five three-pointers en route to a career high 22 points to lead the Seminoles. Terance Mann added 20 points and nine rebounds in a game that saw the Seminoles pull out to a 47-36 halftime lead. Though the Rams scored the first 11 points of the second half to wipe out that lead, the Seminoles used an 11-0 run of their own to take a 76-60 lead with 6:28 to go and put the game out of reach for Colorado State.
Colorado State was led by 22 points from Prentiss Nixon - Che Bob also added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the losing effort.
The Seminoles return to Florida and will play host to Kennesaw State on Wednesday night - tipoff from Tallahassee is scheduled for 2 PM.
