The Atlanta Falcons (3-2) defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) 36-30 on Thursday night in Atlanta. With the win, the two teams are now tied for first place in the NFC South.
Kirk Cousins went 42-of-48 with a career high 509 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Falcons. He hit KhaDarel Hodge with a 45-yard touchdown pass in overtime to clinch the win. Baker Mayfield went 19-for-24 with 180 yards and three touchdowns - two to Mike Evans and one to Sterling Shepard - in the loss.
