Baker Mayfield's Four Touchdowns Lead Buccaneers Past Packers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-7) defeated the Green Bay Packers (6-8) 34-20 on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field. The Buccaneers remain in a tie for first place in the NFC South with the New Orleans Saints.

Baker Mayfield had a brilliant game for Tampa Bay, going 22-for-28 with 381 yards and four touchdowns passing. Chris Godwin had one of the best game in his brilliant career, converting ten grabs for 155 yards. Rachaad White had another good game, rushing for 89 yards to compliment the passing game.

Tied 10-10 midway through the second quarter, the Buccaneers scored the next ten points to take a 20-10 lead early in the third quarter. Green Bay pulled within 27-20 early in the fourth quarter, but Baker Mayfield hit David Moore for a 52-yard touchdown with 6:30 to go in the game that put the game out of reach as Tampa Bay held on for the win.

Entrenched in a playoff race, the Buccaneers return home and will host the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff between the Buccaneers and Jaguars is scheduled for 4:05 PM on Christmas Eve in Tampa - you can hear the game on 97.9 WXTB-FM - The Mighty 98 Rock.
