Richard Sherman agreed to a plea deal stemming from his arrest in Washington State in July 2021.
The free agent cornerback joined the Buccaneers in September. He had been arrested on July 14th after police said he drove his SUV into a construction zone, then fled the scene. Sherman then attempted to break down the front door of his in-laws home in Redmond, Washington.
As part of his plea deal, Sherman agreed to pay $2,500 in court fees and remain under court supervision for up to two years.
