The New Orleans Saints appear to be promoting Dennis Allen to head coach, to take over for Sean Payton. Payton announced he was stepping away from coaching on January 25th.
Though it was thought that both Buccaneers coordinators - offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich and defensive coordinator Todd Bowles - would be serious candidates for head coaching opportunities throughout the NFL, it appears all of the coaching vacancies have been filled.
This means the Buccaneers appear poised to return the bulk of their coaching staff for the 2022 season.
