AFC Tops NFC In 2022 Pro Bowl

The AFC defeated the NFC 41-35 on Sunday afternoon in the 2022 Pro Bowl in Las Vegas.

The Buccaneers were well represented in the game, having nine players selected. Recently retired quarterback Tom Brady did not attend the game, and right tackle Tristan Wirfs did not play because of an ankle injury he suffered in the playoffs.

The other seven players selected all saw extensive playing time. Ryan Jensen and Ali Marpet both started for the NFC, while Antoine Winfield Jr, Shaq Barrett, Devin White and Vita Vea all saw playing time on defense. Winfield had one of the plays of the game when he intercepted a pass from Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and ran it back 63 yards for a touchdown at the end of the first quarter.

In addition, Mike Evans led the NFC with 50 receiving yards on just two catches - he also caught a 19-yard touchdown from Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray in the second quarter.
