ESPN Is Reporting Tom Brady Is Retiring - But Is It True?

ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington have reported that legendary quarterback Tom Brady will retire from the NFL.

The TB12 account run by Tom Brady's company appeared to confirm the news in a now deleted Tweet that read "7 Super Bowl Rings, 5 Super Bowl MVPs, 3 League MVP Awards, 22 Incredible Seasons. Thank you for it all, Tom Brady."

However, reports are now that Tom Brady has called Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht and said that he has not made a final decision.

If he does retire, Brady's career will come to an end after 22 seasons that saw him win an unprecedented seven Super Bowls. After playing the first 20 years of his career for the New England Patriots, he played the last two with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leading them to a Super Bowl LV win over the Kansas City Chiefs last season.
