The Saints are on the market for a new head coach, as Sean Payton announced on Tuesday he is stepping away from the Saints.
Sean Payton has been the head coach of the New Orleans Saints since 2006, and led them to their only title in team history when they won Super Bowl XLIV over the Indianapolis Colts in the 2009-2010 NFL season.
Though Payton would not call it a retirement, he did express interest in working in the media.
The decision means the Saints will be looking for a new head coach for the first time since 2005.
