Buccaneers Come From Behind To Beat Jets

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (12-4) rallied for a come-from-behind win over the New York Jets (4-12) 28-24 on Sunday afternoon in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The Jets led for most of this game, including building a 17-10 lead going into halftime. In the third quarter a bizarre scene unfolded, as wide receiver Antonio Brown was seen removing his jersey and undershirt and leaving the stadium shirtless. Head coach Bruce Arians said after the game that Antonio Brown was no longer a Buccaneer, and would not elaborate.

The Jets led the Buccaneers 24-10 late in the third quarter before Brady hit Cameron Brate to pull within 24-17. Ryan Succop hit a 27-yard field goal midway through the fourth quarter to make the game 24-17, then late in the game Tom Brady orchestrated some magic. After the Buccaneers defense stopped the Jets on 4th down and 2, Tom Brady drove the Bucs down the field, ending in a 33-yard touchdown strike to Cyril Grayson that propelled the Buccaneers to the victory.

The Buccaneers now return home for the regular season finale next Sunday against the Panthers. Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is scheduled for 1:00 PM on January 9th on 97.9 WXTB-FM - the Mighty 98 Rock.
