The Bucs may have come up short in Week 3against the Rams, but it was through no fault of quarterback Tom Brady’s. The 22-year veteran threw for 432 yards against Los Angeles, bringing him 68 yards shyof the all-time passing record. Drew Brees mark of 3,580 yards seems poised to fall in Week 4, when Brady plays his first game as a visitor in New England.
With just 68 yards to go for the record, Brady could hit the mark in the first quarter. The Patriots are 1-2 and struggling right now, falling on Sunday to the Saints, 28-13. But opposing quarterbacks haven’t exactly lit up the New England secondary this season. Jets rookie Zach Wilson has the most passing yards against Bill Belichick’s defense, with a 210-yard effort in a 4-interception loss in Week 2.
