(on how Tampa Bay’s defense was able to pressure Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes) “I’ve just got to credit the coaching staff. Coach Bowles, Coach Rapone and the entire defensive coaching staff put a great game plan together for us. All we did as players is practice, worked our butts off and we just executed the game plan. I can’t give enough credit to the coaching staff and all the players for doing their jobs tonight.”

(on what the team achieved this season) “It’s been a crazy year dealing with COVID and just going through all the different obstacles. I’m just proud of all my teammates, coaches and the entire organization for getting us here to this position. There was a lot of work put into this season and I’m just so proud of everybody just for being in this position.”

(on winning the Super Bowl) “I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s something that I’ve been working toward my entire life. Words can’t explain how good it felt to win a Super Bowl. I’ve got to give credit to Mike Edwards. He’s the reason why I got the interception. He’s the reason I got my two interceptions this year off of tipped balls, so I’ve got to give a shoutout to him because he did his thing.”

(on what he will remember the most about this season) “I’ll remember a lot of things. This year has just been a difficult year for everybody and all the obstacles that we’ve overcome. It’s really ridiculous for us to even be in this position – to even be able to play football this year with everything going on. One of things I’ll remember the most is just going through that grind with everybody, sticking it out to the end and obviously, winning the Super Bowl.”

(on what the secondary was able to do differently compared to its regular season meeting against Kansas City) “The game plan treated us well. The coaches put us in a great position to do our jobs and we just executed the game plan. Everybody knew going in that all we had to do was do our jobs and we should be successful. That’s what we did tonight.”

(on the week of preparation and what went through his head during the game) “We knew we had a tough opponent. Kansas City, the reigning champs, we knew they had a great offense and a lot of weapons on their offense, so our goal was just to slow them down and execute the game plan. We just had to do our jobs and we’d be successful.”

(on if he did a ‘row the boat’ celebration following his interception) “Yeah, man. Shoutout to everybody up in Minnesota. Row the boat, baby. That’s our little celebration that we do down here. It was amazing to actually be able to row the boat down here after the interception – that was real cool. Shoutout to everybody in Minnesota.”

(on his conversation with his father after the game) “He came down onto the field and we pretty much just ran up into each other, latched on to each other and started crying about the moment. It was a special moment. My dad played 14 years and never went to the Super Bowl. My first year I was able to get to the Super Bowl and win it, so it was just a proud moment that we shared. Both of my parents, they both came down and I was able to embrace both of them and share that moment. It was incredible.”

(on if he was able to keep the ball from his interception) “I’m definitely keeping the football that I intercepted. The taunting, it was just something I had to do. When we played them earlier [this season], Hill went off on us. He backflipped in front of my face and gave me the peace sign so it was only right that I gave the peace sign back to him at this moment. It felt amazing to be able to do that.”

(on the importance of Tampa Bay’s Week 13 bye week to its success this season) “It was a critical bye week. I feel like the bye week gave us a chance to look back and reflect on where we were and what the ultimate goal was the rest of the season. We just kind of looked at ourselves and we went on a run. The coaches helped [because] ever since then they just have been putting us in positions to allow us to do our jobs to the best of our abilities. I just can’t give enough credit to the coaching staff, the entire organization and also my teammates.”

(on the fan who ran on the field) “That was funny, but honestly I needed it because we were getting driven on. When he came out, that gave me a little bit of time to catch my breath. I’m glad he went out there because that helped me out a lot.”
