The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) fell to the Chicago Bears (4-1) 20-19 on Thursday Night Football.
The Buccaneers took a 13-0 lead in the first half before the Bears were able to get anything going. The Bears did answer with two touchdowns in the final 1:48 of the second quarter to take a 14-13 lead into halftime.
The second half was a battle of field goals - and Ryan Succop hit his fourth of the night with 4:49 to go to give Tampa Bay a 19-17 lead. But the Bears answered with a nine play, 32 yard drive that ended in a 38-yard field goal to get the 20-19 lead. Though the Buccaneers and Tom Brady got the ball one more time with 1:13 to go, the Bears forced a turnover on downs to end the game.
The Buccaneers return to action when they host the Green Bay Packers on October 18th. Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is scheduled for 4;25 on October 188th.
