Arians Sees 10-6 Team Without Bucs Beating Bucs

With one game left to play in his first season in Tampa Bay, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians thinks his team would have 10 wins if not for the "Bucs beating the Bucs" this season.

Two days after the Buccaneers lost to the Houston Texans 23-20, Arians met with the media. The game on Saturday against Houston was the seventh time this season the team committed at least three turnovers in a game. And when you factor in the team has a turnover differential of minus eleven, you can come to the conclusion that turnovers have kept the Buccaneers from winning more than seven games this season.

Arians, who on multiple occasions this season has used the term "Bucs beating the Bucs," was asked how frustrating it was to have a game where his team turned the ball over four times this late in the season, even after discussing the turnover issue multiple times during the season. And Arians provided a frustration level but also a number of victories he thinks his team would have if not for his term "Bucs beating the Bucs" being evident this late into his first season as head coach.
