While Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles leads a defense that is best in the NFL against the run, there is one player on his defense that is doing more than just excelling on game-day.
Bowles talked to the media on Thursday as the team prepares to travel this weekend to take on the Lions in Detroit on Sunday. And one player that has thrived under Bowles in his first years as the team's defensive coordinator has been defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who was drafted second overall by the Lions in the 2010 NFL draft.
Bowles spoke about how well Suh has performed this season even though he's constantly facing double-teams. But as well as Suh has played in games this year, Bowles pointed out on Thursday that Suh's preparation during the week & his work ethic challenges everyone around him on a daily basis.
